Heading toward the field...

As the end of summer approaches, God is continuing to make a way for us! We have completed and submitted all our necessary documents to apply for the travel ban exemption to enter the Philippines. For now, we keep working, and wait. As we continue to travel during the pandemic and troubles we face in our world, our awesome God is helping guide us toward the field! Our August schedule had us in Pennsylvania and South Carolina visiting new churches and giving updates to current partners. With our departure just 3 months away, we are confident that the Lord will continue to guide us as we head toward the field! We currently have raised 85% of our monthly support commitments to reach our goal to be fully funded for our mission! Thank you to everyone that is praying and financially supporting us as we make final arrangements to depart for the field on November 18th, 2021.

Held by God's grace...

August was packed full of memories and moments that kept us held by God’s grace. Missions is a continual pattern of sacrifice and surrender on a daily basis and staying close to the Lord is the only way to survive. After moving out of our home at the end of July, we said goodbye to our RV at the end of August! We also started another year of online school, celebrated Zachary’s 11th birthday, and Sarah and Eddie celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary all with a full schedule of church visits! We also had friends that prepared a Thanksgiving dinner for us since we plan to depart before then.

Our hope is in Christ alone and we know God hears our prayers!
