Hall Feb 2021 - South Africa

At the end of January we traveled up to Ohio. This was a very profitable trip for us as we visited Open Door Baptist Church in Lima and Troy Baptist Church. Both churches were extremely hospitable. It was great to see a great friend of ours, Stephen Cudd and his family at TBC. We got to fellowship with his wonderful family along with Pastor Thomasson and his sweet family as well.

2021 is well on it’s way and God has already been answering some great prayer requests and leading and guiding in our life and ministry! Praise the Lord!!!

Teaching & Travels

I got the opportunity to teach a three day intensive class at the Our Generation Training Center in Alpharetta, GA. I taught on “The Missionary Mindset.” The students really seemed to enjoy the class but to be honest the class really helped me. If you have never read Hudson Taylor’s biography I would challenge you to do so. It’s called Hudson Taylor’s Spiritual Secret and costs just a few dollars. Reading of people God used in days gone by can be extremely sobering and convicting. By the way, if you or someone you know is considering being a missionary the Our Generation Training Center is the place to get training. Many of the classes are taught by experienced missionaries, it's very affordable, and they have a tremendous success rate of getting students to where God has called them after they graduate!

We started our January scheduled meetings off with a great missions emphasis day at Pinecrest Baptist Church with Pastor John Anderson. Pastor John and I went to school and worked together at Crown College a couple of decades ago. We had a great time of fellowship with the church, staff and fellow missionaries. It was a great day with an exciting church desiring to impact the world with the gospel. They have already made the decision to partner with us!

We also got to visit a great supporting church, Heritage Baptist, over in Goose Creek, South Carolina. They had a conference speaker by the name of Bro. Scott Norman from World Wide New Testament Missions. He is a super kind man that preached a tremendous message on faith promise missions. We definitely needed to be at this church on this day, what a blessing!

Next, we headed to middle GA to Southside Independent Baptist Church and Pinnacle Baptist Church. Southside is a faithful partner and it was great being with them! Pinnacle graciously allowed us to come by and share our work and ministry with them. They are prayerfully considering partnering with us later this year. We enjoyed ministering and fellowshipping with both of the great churches.

Open Door definitely plans on partnering with us and we are praying TBC will as well. A gentleman from TBC is graciously helping us setup our website for the Bible College. That is a HUGE answer to prayer and we believe will be a great tool for God’s glory!
